No sure why but the stitching on the sides of my black Xenon socks started coming out after only 3 washes in the gentle cycle. They look like they're a year old. Otherwise, the socks are good.

In theory the concept is a good one. Design a sock that is light and anatomical, with ventilation using something called a "Super-flat zero-friction seam double-looped inside and outside." Unfortunately, the several pairs experienced all suffered from the same poor quality in seam construction as the next. The result looking like a sea anemone or something akin to a shag rug.
Beyond the quality issues seen with these the design offers little improvement over competing lightweight racing socks. If you already have a favorite the suggestion would be to stay with them.
Disclaimer: At the time, the white version of the socks were not available so the quality issues may have been limited to the black version only and may also have been limited to specific lots.
