Rated 4 out of 5 by Chicago Manuel Excellent gloves
These gloves are in every way—fit, quality of materials and workmanship, warmth—an improvement over the two pairs of cold-weather cycling gloves I already own. I've worn them at 40 degrees and my normally cold hands were more than comfortable. Tomorrow morning, I'll be testing them in 35-degree weather with a light liner, and I have no doubt they'll be up to the task (and I expect I may discover that the liner is totally unnecessary).

I use the gloves for road cycling. My hand is almost 9 inches around with average length fingers. I selected the XL, they fit perfectly so that was great. I had hoped the gloves would be slightly big so I could wear a thinner insulating pair underneath, but the fit would be too tight with the XL I purchased. I usually wear short-finger gloves from the high 50s Fahrenheit on up in temperature. I bought these gloves as my "cold winter weather" gloves. I started a ride in the morning with 5mph wind and a sunny day at 25 degrees Fahrenheit and these gloves were not warm enough. The day warmed up and I noticed that around 35 degrees, these gloves worked fine. It warmed on up to 47 degrees and my hand never sweated. They are fleeced lined and are very comfortable. They have gel inserts and are very comfortable for long distance on the handlebars. I have a good feel on my Shimano shifters, not too much bulk, so no issue with shifting. They have a tab with a anti-slip on both hands, which really helps to pull the glove on up...this well thought out (Nice job). The gloves have a long enough collar that they go over my jersey or coat well, no gap for the cold weather. I am not sure why they will not handle a colder temperature, being that they have the Windstopper material. So for me these range in temperature from about 35F on up, which was a disappointment for me. My only other gripe is that there are 5 laundry labels on the left hand inside the glove, I guess one for each language. This is really annoying when putting your hand in the glove or taking it out, but I do not notice it at all when my hand was in the glove. I like this glove and would recommend it, but if you ride in a colder climate or colder weather than 35degrees F, I would suggest another glove entirely or another set for lower temps. I personally will use my ski gloves in the interim for temps below 35F, but they are bulky, which is tougher for shifter gears. The glove is very comfortable on the hoods and the main part of the handlebar and just comfortable in general.

I BOUGHT THESE FOR WHAT COLD DAYS WE HAVE HERE IN TEXAS. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE, GREAT FIT, MEDIUM IS SNUG, BUT STILL HAVE ROOM TO MOVE. NOT AS WARM AS I THOUGHT IF IT GETS 30-20. I WORK OUT IN THE HILL COUNTRY AND USED THESE OUT THERE ON A RIDE, FINGERS WERE A BIT CHILLY, BUT A LIGHT UNDERLINER (THAT I USE WHEN I RUN) WORKED TO KNOCK OUT THE COLD THE REST OF THE WAY. I BELIEVE THERE IS A COLDER WEATHER VERSION AVAILABLE, HOWEVER, FOR WHERE I LIVE, AND THE CONDITIONS I WILL BE IN, THESE ARE PERFECT. THE GEL PADS KEEP ME COMFY ON THE HOODS, AND HAVE PLENTY OF FLEXIBILITY FOR GEAR SHIFTS.
