Our Technologies
GORE-TEX Active

GORE-TEX® Active

Garments engineered with GORE-TEX® Active product technology are built for extreme breathability and are ideal for highly aerobic, done in a day activities. All components are built for optimized sweat management to ensure extreme breathability and optimum comfort in high aerobic conditions. The performance is also supported by a tight fitting and minimalistic garment design.

GORE-TEX Guaranteed

GORE-TEX® GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY® promise

If you are not completely satisfied with the waterproofness, windproofness, or breathability of a GORE-TEX® product then we will repair it, replace it, or refund your purchase price. All GORE-TEX® garments and footwear - and only GORE-TEX® garments and footwear - carry our GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY® promise.

GORE-TEX Membrane

Membrane

At the heart of GORE-TEX® fabric is an extremely thin membrane that's durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It has over 9 billion pores per square inch.

GORE-TEX Waterproof

What Durably Waterproof Means

We believe waterproof garments shouldn’t leak - period. Many outdoor brands claim their products are waterproof but can’t always keep that promise over time in real-life conditions. We keep that promise. GORE-TEX® fabrics provide truly durable waterproofness, keeping water out through prolonged use in harsh conditions and demanding applications.

GORE-TEX Windproof

Truly Windproof

Although textiles like microfibers, closely woven fabrics, and many fleece materials are often considered windproof, even light winds can penetrate most of these fabrics, making you feel chilled and uncomfortable. In technical terms, a fabric can only be considered truly windproof if its air permeability is 1.0 cfm (volume of air that passes through one cubic foot of fabric in one minute) or less. All GORE-TEX® products meet or exceed this standard.

GORE-TEX Breathable

Highly Breathable

“Breathability” is one of the outdoor industry’s most misunderstood terms. It is not, as many believe, about a fabric’s ability to let air move through it, rather it refers to how well it lets your sweat escape in the form of moisture vapor. Our standards require that during heavy exertion our fabrics must breathe well enough to allow sweat to evaporate easily.

Product Reviews
Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by A must have for the PNW Mountain biking in the rain and mud is fun but not with a wet seat and a soaked chamois. I can ride all day in the rain with the inner shorts pro and these gore tex active shorts over top and be comfortable without ever feeling like I'm sitting in a puddle of mud and grit. Great for the commutte to work as well where something lightweight and waterproof is easy to throw on and off. Would be nice if it had a small zippered pocket on the thigh for a credit card and ID. Overall great short. October 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't stay in place- No belt loops I recently purchased these to keep me dry on wet winter UK XC rides, with the intention of wearing them over tights or 3/4 shorts. Generally, the build quality and design is good, but they are completely let down by the lack of any means to keeping them in place. Unlike 'normal' shorts, these only come with an elasticated waste band and tiny sprung draw cord toggle. This is completely insufficient to keep the shorts in place, particularly on seated climbs, when the the shorts have the inclination to slide down, steady restricting movement in the legs. After 20mins of riding in them, I had to take them off out of frustration of constantly having to stop and pull them up. Ideally they need bib straps, at a minimum belt loops. Its very disappointing such a simple thing has been omitted. January 25, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointingly avg. fit for $180 shorts. I use these shorts for commuting and mountain biking. Pros: Good for cool, wet rides. These shorts keep you upper thighs & bum dry. I like the longer tapered front side that gives an extra inch or two coverage over the knees rather than bunching up behind them. High crotch doesn't hook on your MTB saddle while descending. Good reflective strips for commuting. Flapped vent panels on the rear to help with exiting air flow coming up the leg. Cons: Average fit as the draw string tends to bite into my hips. Shorts do not stay in place on hips. Simply because the draw string is tightened around your hips in no way means that it will stay in place, either a vert or horiz axis. Where is a gripper elastic to keep it in place against the slippery chammy surface underneath? December 29, 2014
