Rated 2 out of 5 by Zelo A Failed Product Redesign
I've have several earlier versions of the Oxygen 2.0 Shorts...which have been exceptional and my "go to" choice for years. But this redesigned version is a loser. First, the material used for the lower 3 inches of the leg--an in-fashion "razor-cut" stretch--has resulted in what just might be expected after only 4 rides: grossly stretched-out legs that won't grab or hold at the bottom. No longer an elastic bottom seam, and no longer do they contour. They now look cheap--stretched out--and feel cheap. Second, the seat cushioning used to be one of the best going, but that is now compromised as well. Gone is the smooth, glove-like feel, replaced by more firm, less comfortable material, and less useful design fit. In summary, over-designed, over-engineered with fashion replacing count-on functionality. DON'T buy this version, they will not last and you will be buying anew in no time. Then again, that may be the design-team intent: more revenue, more frequent purchases, at the cost of quality. I hope this is not the Gore of the future--as it is the quickest way to lose customer loyalty there is.
